They are typically located in the midsection of a stadium grandstand, usually providing the best views of the event. New Kids on the Block (NKOTB) is an American boy band from Boston, Massachusetts. The band currently consists of brothers Jordan and Jonathan Knight, Joey McIntyre, Donnie Wahlberg, and Danny Wood. New Kids on the Block enjoyed success in the late 1980s and early 1990s and have sold more than 80 million records worldwide. They won two American Music Awards in 1990 for Favorite Pop/Rock Band, Duo, or Group and Favorite Pop/Rock Album.
Disbanding in 1994, the group pursued solo careers to varying degrees of success. However, a 2007 reuniting of NKOTB and the subsequent release of a 2008 album brought them back into the limelight with a major concert tour. They have, since, collaborated with fellow boy band, The Backstreet Boys, and have continued to release new music and tour ever since.
