Washington Nationals Suites: The Crown Jewel of a World Series Champion!

Major League Baseball is America’s pastime. As a sport with deeply rooted traditions, it has attracted millions of adoring fans spanning generations. These fans gather at stadiums throughout the league each season to cheer on their teams. The MLB boasts a total of 30 teams, with 15 in the National League and 15 in the American League.

    • Washington Nationals
The Washington Nationals are the newest team in Major League Baseball. Competing out of the NL East division, they are a formidable opponent with a reputation that precedes them. Their fans travel well and root for them wherever they are playing.

Initially, the Nationals struggled when the team was first established in 2005, after moving from Montreal. However, they were able to conquer these shortcomings and had considerable success throughout the 2010s. The Nats achieved their first playoff berth along with their first NL East title in 2012. They would win their first pennant in 2019 and would become World Series champions after defeating the Houston Astros in seven games.

    • Nationals Park
From 2005 to 2007, the Nationals played in RFK Stadium while their permanent stadium was being built. They moved into Nationals Park in 2008. This stadium is the first LEED-certified green major professional sports stadium in the USA.

Nationals Park is a beautiful stadium situated in the Navy Yard neighborhood of Washington D.C. Many major events have been hosted here including the 2015 NHL Winter Classed, the 2018 MLB All-Star Game (the first to be played in Washington D.C. since 1969), in addition to three games of the 2019 World Series.

Construction of the ballpark came in at a cost of $693 million with an additional $84.2 million spent on transportation, art, and infrastructure upgrades to support the stadium. The stadium holds a capacity of 41,339. The Washington Monument and the Capitol building are visible from the upper decks on the first base side of the Nationals Park.
