Yankee Stadium Suites: Provide Your Guests with World-Class Luxury

The New York Yankees are a world-famous professional baseball team that competes in the MLB as a member of the American League (AL) East division. Their enormous fan base spans the globe with their iconic logo appearing on hats and t-shirts everywhere you go. They are one of two major league clubs from New York City, along with the NL’s New York Mets.

Adopting their current name in 1913, the New York Yankees have been around for more than a century. In that time, they have gone on to become the most legendary franchise in the history of the game. The Yankees are perhaps the most successful professional sports team in the USA. Here are just a few of their incredible achievements:

  • The New York Yankees have won 19 American League East Division titles.
  • They hold the MLB record of 40 American League pennants and 27 World Series championships.
  • They have won the greatest number of titles of any franchise in the four major North American sports leagues.
  • Along with 44 Yankees players, 11 Yankees managers have been inducted into the National Baseball Hall of Fame.
  • According to Forbes, the Yankees are the 2nd highest valued sports franchise in the USA, with an estimated value of approximately $4.6 billion.
The Yankees are well-admired for their winning records and performances on the baseball diamond. Their rivalry with the Boston Red Sox is one of the most well-known in all of sports. The team plays their home games at Yankee Stadium.

The original Yankee Stadium was built in the Bronx, New York City. During its 85-year history, the original Yankee Stadium hosted 6,581 regular-season Yankees home games. This stadium was nicknamed “The House That Ruth Built”.

In 2006, the Yankees began building a new stadium, adjacent to the original Yankee stadium. The iconic frieze facade that crowned the upper deck in the previous field gave the new stadium the same historic vibe. The old Yankee Stadium closed after the 2008 baseball season and the new Yankee Stadium opened in 2009.

Maintaining the history and culture of the Yankees, Yankee Stadium succeeds in melding both old and new to create an impressive structure enjoyed by Yankees fans of all generations. There are some incredible features of this ball park. This includes a Yankees museum on the lower level and the famous Monument Park located behind the center field fence.
