Fiserv Forum
Taking over for the beloved BMO Harris Bradley Center, the Fiserv Forum had a lot to live up to in the hearts and minds of Bucks fans. Renovations and upgrades were needed to keep up with other teams around the league and it became too much for the old building. The Fiserv Forum opened for the 2018 season and has become the new home for the Milwaukee Bucks.
A multi-purpose arena located in downtown Milwaukee, this venue also serves as the home of the NCAA’s Marquette Golden Eagles basketball team. Some great concert tours have come through in the short time that this venue has been open including The Eagles, Metallica, Justin Timberlake, and many more. WWE and UFC events have also taken place in addition to plans for the 2020 Democratic National Convention. The venue is also equipped for hockey so the NCAA Frozen Four or even a Minnesota Wild game is a possibility for the future.
A more intimate venue than the BMO Harris Bradley Center, there is less general seating and luxury suites in the Fiserv Forum, making these boxes even more valuable. If you are looking to host a group at a Bucks game and want to show them an amazing time, the Fiserv Forum luxury suites are the way to go. Magnificently decorated and featuring a range of configurations, each suite comes with VIP entry and parking along with unbelievable catering options that will impress everyone in your party.

A Wisconsin based basketball franchise, the Milwaukee Bucks joined the NBA as an expansion team in 1968. After a difficult inaugural season, the Bucks made excellent work of the NBA draft, selecting Lew Alcindor out of UCLA. Known better as Kareem Abdul-Jabbar, he put the Bucks on the map with his dominant play en route to their first playoff berth and Rookie of the Year honors. The second year of Bucks basketball saw them excel to the second best record in the league during the regular season and advance as far as the Division Finals where they were bested by the New York Knicks in five games.
Milwaukee would follow this up with a stellar third year which saw them finish the regular season with a record of 66-16. Aided by Oscar Robertson, who joined the team via a trade, Milwaukee won their Division. The Bucks tore through the playoffs, beating both the Warriors and Lakers in five game series before sweeping the Baltimore Bullets in the NBA Finals to take home the title as NBA Champions. This is the fastest that an expansion team has ever become champions in basketball.
They remained dominant and returned to the Finals just two seasons later, losing to Boston in seven games. At the end of the next season, Abdul-Jabbar requested a trade and the Bucks became a team in transition. However, by the end of the 1970s the Bucks were back and became a dominant club throughout the 1980s, making it as far as the Conference Finals three times while racking number six straight division titles and a winning record for 11 consecutive years. Sidney Moncrief led the way for Milwaukee.
The Bucks fell on hard times in the nineties, with only three seasons of winning records producing postseason basketball. All three appearances ended in first round exits. Towards the end of the decade, the tandem of young veteran stars Glenn Robinson and Ray Allen along with Sam Cassell propelled the team back from obscurity and deep into the playoffs. In 2001, the Milwaukee Bucks would miss the NBA Finals by one game, falling to the Philadelphia 76ers in the Eastern Conference Finals in game seven.
The team began to disband shortly after that and Milwaukee lost the chemistry that led to their success. Since 2001, the Bucks had not advanced beyond the first round of playoff competition until sweeping the Detroit Pistons following the 2018-2019 season, having won their division with a record of 60-22 (tied for the best in team history). They would be dismissed in round two by Boston in five games. However, there was a lot of reason to have hope for the future in Milwaukee.
Head coach Mike Budenholzer had an amazing first season in Wisconsin and continued in year two. There was a lot of optimism in Milwaukee heading into the 2020-2021 season. The Bucks posted a 46-26 regular season record, first place in the Central Division and third place in the Eastern Conference. Heading to the playoffs for the third straight year under Budenholzer, Milwaukee smoked the Miami Heat in four straight. Following the sweep, the Bucks met up with the Brooklyn Nets in the Conference Semifinals. This was a tough series, as both teams gave everything they had, but it was Milwaukee that would be moving on to face Atlanta in the Eastern Conference Finals. The Hawks had just stunned the first seed 76ers and brought a lot of momentum into the series. After losing game one, the Bucks came back strong and took a 2-1 series lead. Atlanta tied the series at home in game four before Milwaukee shut them down in games five and six. The Milwaukee Bucks advanced for the NBA Finals for the first time since 1974.
Phoenix had risen out of the west and the Suns were impressive in the first two games, taking both to go up 2-0 in the series. Giannis Antetokuonmpo put the team on his back, scoring 40+ points four times in this six game series. He and the Bucks made a statement in game three with a 120-100 victory, showing that Milwaukee would not go down without a fight. Winning again in game four, the Bucks had come back to tie the series. The Bucks would head to Arizona for game five and the Bucks rose to the challenge, stealing one away in Phoenix by a score of 123-119.
The Bucks had a chance to take the series in front of their hometown fans in game six. They knew that the Suns would leave nothing on the table. If the Bucks intended to hoist the NBA Championship Trophy at home, they would have to dig deep and match the Suns’ fire with fire. Antetokuonmpo’s performance in this game will go down in history as he put up 50 points in the 105-98 victory that captured the Bucks their first NBA Championship since 1971.
Giannis Antetokuonmpo is the standout star of this team. He and Khris Middleton have been with Milwaukee the longest and have grown from young kids into star professionals who lead this team. Center Brooks Lopez is a solid contributor. This veteran came to Milwaukee in search of his first championship and found it.
PJ Tucker and Jrue Holiday round out the starting five. These two players joined the Bucks this season, with Tucker coming in March of 2021 via a trade with Houston. Holiday found his way to the team earlier in the season after being traded from New Orleans. Both of these pros settled in with their new team and played a key role in their success.
Bucks fans are very proud of their rich history and tradition of great basketball. Among the most loved players to have suited up for Milwaukee are Kareem Abdul-Jabbar, Giannis Antetokounmpo, Oscar Robertson, Ray Allen, Sidney Moncreif, Terry Cummings, and Glenn Robinson.
