Super Bowl Suites
Super Bowl LVI featured an epic match-up between the Los Angeles Rams and Cincinnati Bengals. This game was the second in Super Bowl history (and for the second consecutive) to be played at the home stadium of one of the competing teams (the Rams).
After a playoff season with some of the most exciting games in recent memory, the culmination came down to the perennial contender Rams, with their new quarterback Matthew Stafford, and the Cinderella story Cincinnati Bengals with second year quarterback Joe Burrow.
Two years ago, Los Angeles played in the big game but lost to the Chiefs. At that time, Cincinnati was a two win team that no one took seriously. Fast forward to 2022 and these teams are evenly matched with players willing to sacrifice it all for the Lombardi Trophy.
The Rams would take the early lead before the Bengals climbed back in. LA held a three point lead at the half. The Bengals were known as a second half team, so a three point lead left no breathing room. Cincinnati came alive in the third quarter, taking the lead. Suddenly, Los Angeles didn’t seem to have an answer.
It would all come down to an unforgettable fourth quarter where the Rams willed themselves to a title. Matthew Stafford, who spent years toiling away in Detroit, was going to make the most of his opportunity. His no look pass to convert for a first down on the game winning drive is the stuff of legends. Receiver Cooper Kupp kept finding ways to get open and make the plays that mattered most. Defensively, Rams defensive end Aaron Donald had been relatively held in check for most of the game. However, he simply could not be contained down the stretch as he burst through the line to bring Burrow down.
Stafford and the Rams would celebrate a 23-20 victory as the confetti fell around them. Head Coach Sean McVay became the youngest Super Bowl winning coach in NFL history. Veterans like Aaron Donald, Eric Weddle, and O’Dell Beckham, Jr. celebrated their first championships.
For Burrow and the Bengals, the sting of this loss will fuel this young and talented team. While they may have caught everyone off guard this year, they earned every yard and will work to get back to this point again next season.
The next Super Bowl is set to take place on February 12th, 2023 at State Farm Stadium in Glendale, AZ. Don’t miss your chance to watch this historic game from the comfort of a luxury suite!
A Luxury box (also referred to as a luxury suite, corporate box, corporate suite, executive box, sky box or a private box) is a special private seating section located within stadiums, arenas and other sporting and entertainment venues. They are typically located in the midsection of a stadium grandstand, usually providing the best views of the event. Some have glass panels that can be opened, in order for the spectators to feel closer to and more immersed in the action of the event.
Luxury suite ticket holders often receive exclusive access to an indoor part of the venue through private club entrances, to areas containing special restaurants, merchandise stands, and lounge areas of the venue that are not otherwise available to regular ticket holders.
