Winners of eight championships prior to the Super Bowl era, the Cleveland Browns have come to be known over the last few decades as one of the most snake-bitten franchises in professional sports. However, with the talent they have up and down their current roster, they make just put this reputation behind them.

Starting with QB Baker Mayfield, the 2018 1st overall NFL draft pick, Cleveland already has reason to be optimistic. After a long string of failed starters at quarterback, Mayfield has answered their prayers with phenomenal talent that just gets better each season. From Nick Chubbs and Kareem Hunt in the backfield to Odell Beckham Jr. and Jarvis Landry out wide, this group is ready to put up a TD on every possession.

The Browns defense is loaded with Myles Garrett, Jadeveon Clowney, Malik Jackson, Anthony Walker, and more, fans in Cleveland know that their team can keep the score close against the toughest of opponents.

Going 13-3 in the 2020 season, Cleveland clinched a playoff berth for the first time since 2002. Beating the Steelers in a high-scoring Wild Card game by a score of 48-37, it was the first playoff win for the Browns since 1994. They would come within striking distance of the AFC Championship, but were eliminated by the Kansas City Chiefs in the divisional round by a score of 22-17.

Head coach Kevin Stefanski knows he is at the helm of something magical. If he can manage to get this group to perform at the same high level again then the Cleveland Browns may just make history in 2021.

First Energy Stadium

Spread across over 31 acres of land between Lake Erie and the Cleveland Memorial Shoreway, FirstEnergy Stadium is an amazing multi-purpose stadium primarily built for professional football. However, it also hosts other events such as high school and college football, soccer, live concerts, and more.

Opened in 1999 with the initial seating capacity of 73,000, First Energy Stadium was originally known as Cleveland Browns Stadium. FirstEnergy purchased the naming rights in 2013 and will hold it until 2029. Renovations in 2014 brought improvements to the venue and reduced the capacity to the current amount of 67,000. It’s a beautiful concrete and glass structure designed by the architectural company Populous, a Sports Venue Event Division of HOK.
